We moved house

Quite the whirlwind couple of weeks we’ve had round here. The house we lived in for over six and a half years was put up for sale for the second time and the owner was insisting on open house inspections every Saturday and they wouldn’t do them early, preferring an 11am start. Some remodeling has been made, like a new landscape, click here to learn more.

If you know us, then you know by 11am we’ve already been out and about, had breakfast and ready to continue our day. We’re rarely sitting around on a sunday waiting for someone to come by, I mean what a waste of a day. On top of that the places round our way don’t sell very fast, the owners often asking too much for the places so we would have potentially gone through open houses for months. People coming through with all our stuff out. So we decided to move, we were able to contact one of the bets moving companies, the great thing about them is that no matter if you want to change the Country or Region, you will always be able to hire them.

Our new house is great. Do you have lots of big stuff or heavy stuff like a piano or antiques, a big screen TV or a top load washer and dryer? These items can require special handling or at the very least some really strong helpers! Do you have stairs at your current home or at your new residence? Stairs are a mover’s nightmare, hire the on the go moving team and have them worry about it. How close can you get to your residence to load or deliver? Having to carry furniture a long distance can be very difficult, and getting a piano down from a second story can take renting specialty equipment and expertise. It’s much smaller in size. But it has some great features. The size is actually the first. So much easier to clean. It also has an undercover area for entertaining and to keep the dogs dry on wet days. The biggest plus with the new house though, it has a clothes line, I”m glad the office moving miami also went very smoothly since we have always had problems with it. We haven’t had one in such a long time and it’s been great this last week (before the rain) being able to hang our clothes out to dry.

So that’s the major news round here.

David’s mum and dad came to visit for the week, they used one of the best airport transportation from North Coast Limo at the airport. They wonderfully helped us with bringing over the stuff the removalists didn’t pack in their massive truck. Nikki, Ben and the kids came and visited on Saturday for breakfast. Kathryn, John, Sue and Lana came by Sunday for cookies and cake (that I cooked).

Here’s some photos from the week of moving.
