It’s a dodgy installation, and not at all what I wanted to do, I had hoped to get a wireless networked video camera so we can have PuppyCam as video feed rather than an eight year old Apple iSight but beggars can’t be choosers so that’s what we have.
Which at the moment means dodgy blurry images. Currently shooting through a window and fly-screen wire. Will move it around a little perhaps but the FireWire cable is only so long.
Might still look at the video solution. David says we could feed it to the Mac Mini so we won’t be uploading a raw stream to the Internets and chewing through our bandwidth. It would only send the feed out when someone viewed a page on the site that way.
