As some may know I’ve recently had a birthday and I’m feeling old. Tonight I was going through some old photos from my phones over the years and came across the photo above taken in August 2005.
I wasn’t always as thin as I am in the photo above, I worked to get there and since that time I’ve buggered it up, gotten fat again and now is as good a time as any to get my butt into gear and get back to where I once was and maybe go a little further.
David will be reading this (cause he subscribes via RSS to this blog) and thinking; “But didn’t you just eat a bunch of home-made hamburgers tonight” and yeah I did. This is kind of a late night epiphany. Seeing where I got to before and how easy it has been for be to stuff my face with food I didn’t need. And doing no exercise. Living a mostly sedentary life.
So let’s do it, let’s get back into shape, let’s not be fat anymore. Tomorrow I’ll weigh and measure. This weekend I’ll start working on an eating plan, vegetarian where possible, to get me back into shape.
First goal is to lose 15kg. Done it before, will do it again.

When you take it easy, you won’t have mood-swings. And most important, once a week you have to treat yourself, a glass of wine or some other product that normally doesn’t fit in your diet. the portions have to be moderate of course.
