Melbourne Zoo

A great day was had at Melbourne Zoo… can’t spend too much time blogging this week as family is visiting and I don’t want to appear anti-social… watch Flickr for photo updates from the Zoo.

Note to anyone planning on visiting the Zoo, I’d hold off for a while if you can. The price has gone up since we were last there, now $22 for adults (up from $18) and almost a quarter of the zoo was unavailable due to refurbishment… displays being upgraded or animals off display due to “them being affected by the noise of the building works”.

So while I’m sure they do have Tapier, after two visits I’m still yet to see it. We missed the Orangutans, Lemuers and some other animals.

We’re off to Ten Pin Bowling tomorrow, followed by dinner at Viva Zapatas in Williamstown.
