I played my first game last night. And I could leave it at that… oh wait, we won! 27 to 16 which the other guys in the team weren’t that stoked about, I however was just happy to have survived without collapsing.
I now know that at 32 I might be a little too old for running around on a court for an hour, thank the gods for time outs. So it’s gym time, get more healthy, more fit.
The funniest thing was that for the first half of the game the other team seemed to be concerned about me, the tall 6″4′ guy… I think it took them a while to figure out I can’t play for crap.
So yeah we won! And I, number 7, probably didn’t add so much to it, but I had a heap of fun.
