The Last Day On Earth

Kate Miller-Heidke Ticket

Last night we were lucky enough to get comped in to go along to see Kate Miller-Heidke. As usual she was awesome. Kate and band put on a great show with some awesome stories and audience interaction thrown in.

The set was quite complete with the exception of what may well be my favourite KMH song “Motorscooter”. She also played “Are you f*$king kidding me” a song about Facebook I’ve heard before but was apparently new to most people in attendance resulting in raucous laughter.

This concert was my first time at The Forum in Melbourne, and when Kate said it should get an award for being the best looking venue in Australia I had to agree. She of course has seen inside a LOT more venues that I but consider The Forum’s stage is a Roman looking structure with a false twilight sky above it. It was just beautiful. From the outside The Forum doesn’t look like much and perhaps that adds to the amazement when you see inside.

If you’ve never listened to Kate’s work I suggest you do. She has three albums and an EP available on iTunes.
